Celebrating Black History Month 2022

Celebrating+Black+History+Month+2022

“Black History Month is a time to recognize and celebrate the Black people that came before me who began the fight to end systemic racism and oppression and paved the way to the liberties I have today despite external struggles enhanced by racism and oppression. It is not only a time to celebrate these leaders as larger-than-life pillars of a movement they either died carrying or under the weight of, but it is also a time to celebrate them as humans. It is essential to acknowledge their accomplishments and celebrate the rich culture they have curated.”
