Celebrating Black History Month 2022
“Black history is American history. Black History Month presents a time to celebrate the ways Black people have enriched the American experience from wealth to culture. Frankly, every month is Black History Month for me. But in a world where members of our profession are drafting and supporting legislation that bars schools and employers from having conversations about our nation’s history of anti-Black racism, Black History Month is an important time for everyone to amplify Black voices, connect the nation’s history of anti-Black racism to the present, and act on building an antiracist world.”
