Celebrating Women’s History Month 2022

“I think it’s important to amplify women’s voices in America because although women might seem more “visible” than ever, we are far from “equal” in terms of opportunity and resources. Women and female-identifying individuals might represent a majority of the population, but we are still a minority in positions of power; make less money for the same work; suffer disproportionately from gender-based violence; and are still fighting for the ability to control our reproductive lives. I believe that with amplification comes visibility; visibility fosters awareness; awareness encourages accountability, and only with accountability can there be real progress.”
