“Women’s history month is a time to reflect on where we have come from and look forward to where we want to go. There have been and still are times when I am the only woman in the room. I am able to be in the room because of work done by the women who came before me. I have a responsibility to pay that forward and support and amplify the women who are now finding their voices to make sure they are not just in the room, but have seats at the table and are heard.”
