Celebrating APIDA Heritage Month 2022

“To celebrate APIDA Heritage Month, I’m continuing to educate myself on the many ways our communities have historically uplifted and supported our most marginalized members, even in the face of adversity. From LGBTQIA+ community members, undocumented community members, and disabled Pacific Islanders/Desi Americans/Asian Americans, it’s important to remember and appreciate the countless intersections within our communities to make sure that we include and amplify those voices and stories. By raising and amplifying the countless views and perspectives of the APIDA community in America today, we can introduce and amplify genuine narratives that actually show our communities’ unique struggles and triumphs in the face of xenophobia, colonization, and racism.”
