Lawrence M. Kaye, managing member at Kaye Spiegler, along with his partner, Howard N. Spiegler, has edited the second edition of The Art Law Review, in which global leading practitioners in the field of art law detail key developments and important issues in their respective countries.

Scott Mollen received the New York Law Journal’s 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Penny Kassel
has joined Falcon Rappaport & Berkman and will head their elder law department.

Anthony Michael Sabino penned two pieces for “‘Goldman Sachs’, Part I: The Supreme Court, Aspirational Statements and Inflation-Maintenance” and “‘Goldman Sachs’, Part II: Aspirational Statements, Inflation-Maintenance and the SDNY on Remand.” He also wrote “Top 10 Rules for Arbitration Chairs,” for the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation Alternative Dispute Resolution, “Ten Best Practices for FINRA Chairpersons” for The Neutral Corner, and “Federal Eminent Domain Power Prevails Over State Sovereign Immunity in Newest Supreme Court Case” for Climate & Energy.

The Onondaga County Bar Association honored former Barclay Damon chair and managing partner John Langan with its 2022 Distinguished Lawyer Award.

John Beling
has been appointed commissioner of Vermont’s Department of Environmental Conservation and will lead 300 employees working to promote clean air, clean water, and healthy communities in the state.

Michael E. Jones has joined Hannum Feretic Prendergast & Merlino, where he handles general liability matters including premises liability, construction site accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and workplace accidents.

Mary Lucere has joined Horing Weilikson Rosen & Digrugilliers, focusing her practice on real estate, landlord tenant law, and civil litigation.

Raymond A. Tierney was elected Suffolk County District Attorney. He has served as a prosecutor for more than 27 years at both the state and federal levels.

After serving as managing partner of DLA Piper’s New York office for close to nine years, Richard Hans is taking on a new challenge as managing partner of vertical operations for the firm’s disputes vertical. Along with the firm’s vice chair, he will also oversee the operations of the litigation, regulatory, IPT, and employment practice groups.

John McCarroll is now of counsel at Edwards, Maxson Mago and Macaulay, focusing his practice on corporate law.

Roberto Viceconte has a new position as partner, private client services at Eisner Amper.

Brian Whiteman has joined Lewis Brisbois as a partner and a member of the professional liability practice.

William J. Kelleher, III
has joined the Office of Corporate Secretary at Con Edison.

John Keville has joined Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton as managing partner in their new Houston office, where he is a partner in the Intellectual Property practice group.

Melzer Lipper partner Michael H. Masri received the Nassau County bar Association’s 2022 Director’s Award.

Hon. Helen Voutsinas has been appointed to the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, Second Department. She served previously in the Appellate Term, on the Supreme Court, and on the District Court in Nassau County.

Nancy Donovan
has rejoined the U.S. Department of Energy as assistant chief counsel.

Akshay Belani
has joined Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders as a partner in the firm’s corporate group.

Eugenie Cesar-Fabian has joined Ethic as the company’s first general counsel. Ethic is a tech driven asset management platform that powers personalization for advisors.

Andrew Lee has joined the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office as a senior assistant district attorney in the Violent Criminal Enterprises Bureau.

Jessica Giambrone Palmese has joined Epstein, Becker & Green as senior counsel in the employment litigation practice group.

Lauren Schuster
has joined the Urban Resource Institute (URI) as its first vice president of government affairs. She is set to bring URI’s policy initiatives to the forefront of state, city, and local government.

Yankwitt partner Alicia Tallbe has been elevated to deputy chair of litigation.

Frank Cavanagh
is now senior director and counsel – government investigations and litigation at Teva Pharmaceuticals.

Stephan Hornug has joined Stroock Stroock & Lavan as a partner in the firm’s restructuring & bankruptcy department.

Christopher Conant
is now assistant solicitor general at the Office of the New York State Attorney General.

Angel Cox is a student fellow in the Zuckerman Fellowship Program at Harvard’s Center for Public Leadership.

Murtha Cullina has promoted Jonathan M. Horne to partner. He practices in the firm’s litigation department and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights group.

Nila Merola has joined Aspen Dental Management, Inc. as associate general counsel.

Reshma Shah has been promoted to partner at Duane Morris, where she practices in the firm’s New York private client services practice group with a focus on tax, estate planning, and the administration of estates and trusts.

Ryan Adams
has been promoted to counsel at Skadden Arps, where he works in their SEC reporting and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance practice group.

Christina Papadopoulos is now associate counsel at the U.S. House of Representatives.

Tiffany Shatzkes has joined J.C. Flowers & Co. as deputy chief compliance officer and associate counsel.

Michael L. Webb has joined Farrell Fritz as real estate counsel.

has been elevated to partner at Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner,where he practices in the firm’s commercial litigation and bankruptcy and restructuring groups.

Matthew E. Moore is assistant vice president, client advisor, insurance solutions group at Voya Investment Management.

Max Bartell will clerk for Hon. Joan Azrack, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York. Currently, he is completing a two-year clerkship with U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephen Locke (EDNY) after working for a year at Fried Frank.

Elisabeth Constantino has rejoined Jackson Lewis as a knowledge management attorney for the firm’s ERISA compliance litigation practice group. She is based in the firm’s New Orleans office.

Sean Kelly has joined Kaplan Hecker & Fink as an associate. He focuses his practice on white-collar and regulatory enforcement, including internal investigations and individual representations.

Anthony Calenzo
