Salomone Presents at Meeting on UN and Multilingualism

On June 12th, Professor Rosemary Salomone presented an “intervention” as part of a Dialogue on Building Understanding through Multilingualism within the United Nations. The meeting included presentations by the President of the General Assembly and other senior leaders followed by alternate interventions by representatives of member states, observer missions, UN entities, and civil society organizations as well as scientific experts to facilitate the interchange of ideas. It was organized by the NGO Committee on Language and Languages and the Study Group on Language and the United Nations together with the Permanent Missions of six member states and the International Organization of la Francophonie.
