On September 8th, Professors Elissa Germaine and Christine Lazaro participated in the Practising Law Institute (PLI)’s program Securities Arbitration 2023. Professor Germaine moderated the panel “Ethical Considerations for Advocates and Neutrals in the FINRA Arbitration Forum” and contributed to the written materials supporting the panel. Professor Lazaro participated in the panel “Recent and Upcoming Developments in FINRA Arbitration and Mediation.” Professors Germaine and Lazaro, who serve as the Securities Arbitration Clinic directors, invited the Clinic’s four summer student interns to attend the program to learn more about securities arbitration and to connect with other expert presenters, practicing attorneys and arbitrators, and FINRA Dispute Resolution Services staff.
