Professor Mark Movsesian participated in an online symposium, “The Religious Freedom Restoration Act at Thirty,” sponsored by Emory Law School’s Center for the Study of Law and Religion on October 19th. Professor Movsesian presented a short paper, “RFRA and the New Thoreaus,” on how the rise of the Nones affects the definition of religion for RFRA and other purposes. His paper subsequently appeared online in Emory’s Canopy Forum.
