On October 6th, Professor Robin Boyle presented at Emory Law School’s Eighth Biennial Conference on the Teaching of Transactional Law and Skills.
Professor Boyle’s one-hour workshop was entitled Having Fun While Learning: Pedagogical Techniques for Teaching Contract Drafting. In her presentation, she drew upon four pedagogical tools: the “testing effect,” the flipped classroom, the use of differentiated learning to achieve multiculturalism, and the implementation of growth mindset theory.
These four tools and their application in transactional drafting courses are explained in more detail in her recently published book, Teaching Contract Drafting (Edward Elgar 2023).
