On November 2nd, Professor Miriam A. Cherry spoke to the Department of Labor on the topic “The Future of Work: Artificial Intelligence and Workplace Surveillance.” Her talk focused on technology and intrusive monitoring of employees, and what unions and regulators can do about it. She collaborated with ‘3L Stephanie Ulan on the research for the talk.
Professor Cherry’s presentation was part of the Chief Evaluation Office’s Seminar Series, with over 200 participants from the Department of Labor in attendance.
