Hon. Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick, of counsel at Greenberg Traurig, was named the New York court system’s independent monitor on racial bias. In 1978, Judge Ciparick made history as the first Latina judge on the Court of Appeals. Throughout her time on the bench, she placed focus on empowering young attorneys, especially those of diverse backgrounds.
