On Monday, October 21st, Professors Tyler Rose Clemons, Phil Lee, and Cheryl Wade served as discussants at an event at St. John’s University titled “The Civil Rights Act: Spanning the Last 60 Years.” The event was part of a speaker series sponsored by the Institute for Critical Race and Ethnic Studies (CRES), the Office of Equity and Inclusion, and the School of Law. It featured a keynote presentation by Professor David Embrick (University of Connecticut).
