Professor Louis Jim participated in a panel discussion at the New England Legal Writing Conference at Boston University School of Law on November 22nd. With the conference theme of “Teaching, Reaching, and Inspiring All Students,” the panel addressed best practices in eliminating and minimizing implicit bias in evaluating students participating in moot court competitions.
Other panelists were Prof. Colin Black (Suffolk University Law School), Prof. Kerry Quinn (Emory University School of Law), Prof. Rosa Kim (Suffolk University Law School), and Prof. Elizabeth Sherowski (University of Detroit Mercy School of Law). Jen McCloskey (Executive Director of Advocacy and Legal Skills, Boston University School of Law) served as the moderator.
