Professor Robin Boyle-Laisure’s workbook, Becoming a Legal Writer: A Workbook with Explanations to Develop Objective Legal Analysis and Writing Skills (Carolina Academic Press (CAP)), will be published in its second edition this summer, just in time for use in the Fall semester.
The second edition provides new chapters and exercises for the first book, published in 2019. The workbook is compatible with any legal writing textbook. It is also useful for academic support purposes. Professor Boyle and her co-authors, Professors Christine Coughlin (Wake Forest) and Sandy Patrick (Lewis & Clark), endeavored to include detailed explanations and exercises for students to hone their objective analysis and writing skills. The workbook will have an updated Teacher’s Manual and additional exercises on CAP’s Core Knowledge platform.
Earlier this year, CAP published Professor Boyle’s persuasive writing workbook, Persuasive Advocacy in Action: A Workbook for Law Students, with Professor Laura Graham (Wake Forest).
