Professor Phil Lee has been selected for the 2025 Jay Newman Award for Academic Integrity from the Academic Freedom Committee of the University of Guelph Faculty Association in Ontario. The award is open to scholars world-wide.

The purpose of the Jay Newman Award is to “recogniz[e] a university scholar and teacher who either at a particular time or in the course of an academic career has demonstrated combined meritorious academic achievement with noteworthy courage or compassion in the defence of academic ideals.”
