
On September 9th, Professor Jeremy Sheff spoke on a panel organized by the Hon. William C. Conner Inn of Court entitled “Discretionary Denial and the Court-PTAB Standoff.”
The panel discussion, held at the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse in Manhattan, discussed recent changes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s standards for instituting review of the validity of issued patents, and the implications for interactions with Article III courts and principles of administrative law.
