Professor Robin Boyle-Laisure reports on several news fronts:
Her article, “Education Theory Integrated in Business Law,” was published in The Journal of Legal Studies Education, a peer-reviewed journal. In this article, she encourages professors to use three pedagogical techniques that enhance student learning and retention of knowledge: scaffolding, interleaving, and schema-building.
Her recently launched book, Taken No More: Protect Your Children Against Traffickers and Cults (Bloomsbury 2025), won the International Impact Book Awards in the category of Parenting – Child Safety and Awareness.
Professor Boyle-Laisure was also interviewed on a live radio talk show, the LIFE CHANGES Show, How to Protect Children from Cults and Traffickers, with host Filippo Voltaggio. Her 2016 article, “Employing Trafficking Laws to Capture Elusive Leaders of Destructive Cults,” published in the Oregon Review of International Law, reprinted in 2018 in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Cultic Studies, was recently summarized by the International Cultic Studies Association, with the summary posted on Substack.
