On April 10th, Professor John Q. Barrett participated in a Robert H. Jackson Center online symposium on “The Ethics and Philosophy of Prosecution: Justice vs. Revenge.”
Professor Barrett spoke about the 1945-1946 international trial at Nuremberg of Nazi war criminals, including Justice Jackson’s work as U.S. chief prosecutor.
Barrett’s fellow panelist, David M. Crane, Distinguished Scholar in Residence, Syracuse University College of Law, spoke about his work as Founding Chief Prosecutor of the UN Special Court for Sierra Leone.
This symposium is part of the Robert H. Jackson Center’s year-long international symposium, “80 Years of Nuremberg: An International Reflection.”
