On Sunday, May 17th, prior to the Law School’s Commencement Exercises, the faculty gathered to celebrate Professor Rosemary Salomone, the Kenneth Wang Professor of Law, who has retired and will become the Kenneth Wang Professor of Law Emerita.
Professor Salomone’s scholarly accomplishments throughout her career include numerous books, articles, book chapters, and commentaries as well as countless presentations and interviews on a wide range of topics, including education law and policy, children’s rights, and language rights.
Her newest book, on Gen Z, language, and democracy in the “new scramble” for Africa (forthcoming, Oxford University Press), addresses soft power and the implications of Russia’s, and especially China’s, growing engagement in Africa.
More about Professor Salomone’s distinguished biography and scholarship can be found here.
