On May 21st, Professor Eric W. Shannon and Interim Associate Dean for Student Services Melissa K. Angelides co-presented at the University of Pittsburgh Law’s Legal Initiative for Fortitude and Transformation (LIFT) 2026 Resilience Conference.

Their presentation, Notes from the Frontlines: Adoption of the In-house Mental Health Professional (IMHP) Model from Theory to Implementation, explained the work that led to Professor Shannon’s article framing the IMHP model as well as Dean Angelides’s experiences operationalizing it at St. John’s Law.

The 2026 LIFT conference was hosted by Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
