On April 30, 2026, Professor John Q. Barrett lectured on “Choosing the Rule of Law: Justice Robert H. Jackson and the Prosecution of Nazis at Nuremberg,” at the Suffolk County Bar Association’s (SCBA) Law Day program held at the SCBA in Hauppauge, NY.

On May 12, 2026, Professor Barrett lectured online for the Federal Bar Association EDNY Chapter’s Judge A. Kathleen Tomlinson 14thAnnual Federal Civil Practice Update. He spoke about decisions, pending cases, “shadow docket” matters, and other aspects of the U.S. Supreme Court’s current Term. His fellow lecturers were U.S. Magistrate Judge Marcia M. Henry and U.S. Magistrate Judge James M. Wicks.
