Dean Jelani Jefferson Exum delivered the keynote address at the Independence Day celebration at Queens Supreme Court – Criminal Term earlier this July.  In commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of our Independence Day, the Court held a reading of the Declaration of Independence and highlighted Francis Lewis, a signer of the Declaration and a Queens County resident.

Dean Jefferson Exum spoke about the key role lawyers and court personnel play in being guardians of the promise of the Declaration.
