Celebrating Black History Month 2022
“The importance of continued celebration, amplification, and uplift of Black voices in America—and the experiences of those voices—is to honor the significance of a people whose identities and legacies have long been overlooked, mischaracterized, and/or usurped. The beauty, depth, richness, and efforts connected to Black voices and Black experiences have made our country what it is and will continue to do so. Black History Month provides a special opportunity to pay homage to past Black voices and experiences and to galvanize current Black voices and experiences towards an impactful future.”
