Celebrating Pride Month 2022

“Amplifying LGBTQ+ voices, especially those of BIPOC people is essential due to the recent anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments spreading throughout the country. There are so many people who are a part of this community who are afraid to be themselves because they don’t think that they would be safe, but if LGBTQ+ voices are amplified, they will realize that they are not alone. Being a part of this community has exposed me to so many people who are fighting for LGBTQ+ rights, and I know that I feel more comfortable being out and proud because of them.”
