Professor Miriam Cherry spoke at a United Nations International Labour Office training seminar, “Knowledge Sharing on Digital Labour Platform Working Conditions” on December 8th. The event facilitated a discussion between judges, lawyers, and academics on minimum rights and protections for workers in the platform economy. Other panelists addressed the laws in the EU and South America. Professor Cherry’s presentation focused on emerging regulatory approaches throughout the United States.
