Professor Robin Boyle-Laisure’s presentation at the Garden City Community Church Forum received news coverage in the April issue of the local magazine, Garden City Living.
At the March 8th Sunday Forum, she highlighted material from her recently published book, Taken No More: Protect Your Children Against Traffickers and Cults (2025), published by Bloomsbury. She addressed what the law does and does not provide regarding cults and human trafficking. She highlighted the chapter titled “Raising a Savvy Child,” which suggests dialogues that parents and caregivers can have with their children as they progress through various stages of development.
Professor Boyle-Laisure’s next book talk will be part of a panel discussion on Thursday, April 16th, at 9:30 AM, at the Adelphi University Writers & Readers Festival.
