Professor Christine Lazaro and Professor Eric W. Shannon’s proposal was accepted for publication in the Clinical Legal Education Association’s next edition of its Best Practices Book Series.
The series was launched by Roy T. Stuckey’s 2007 groundbreaking book, Best Practices for Legal Education: A Vision and a Road Map, followed by the 2015 publication by Deborah Maranville et al., Building on Best Practices: Transforming Legal Education in a Changing World. This new volume will update topics covered in those seminal books and address additional topics. Professor Lazaro and Professor Shannon’s chapter portion will describe development of the innovative St. John’s Law Leadership for Lawyers course and strategies for development of lawyer-leadership curricula more broadly.
Carolina Academic Press anticipates publishing this third volume of the series in Spring 2028. Professors Robin Boyle-Laisure and Ashley Armstrong will also contribute to the volume.
